After install I ran Multibeast and applied DSDT and Audio fix for the DC7900 (as described in this thread: ) After the first reboot (after applying DSDT and audio fix), USB didn’t work which left me without mouse or keyboard. I turned off the system and booted it with -x which made it boot up in safe mode with USB working. I then did a plain restart of the system and it boots fine with USB working fine. Installation works using the onboard VGA, but this board is not supported and you will get horribly slow graphics, so a dedicated graphics card is needed. I later added an ASUS Geforce GT 210 card. I have accelerated graphics, audio, Ethernet, SATA and USB all working. I have disabled sleep (I think) as it locks up the computer. I am pretty happy with the results.
I just need to hook up a 1080P monitor (crappy 1280x1024 17' monitor right now) to it and I will have a nice little box for Tap Forms, email, calander, notes, (synched to IOS devices and Microsoft Exchange) and web surfing. Hi, for the DC7900 there's a relatively good DSDT floating around which works extremely well with 10.8 but has a problem with 10.9 - no keyboard and mouse after it has been loaded almost every time. It turned out to be a issue with the HPET IRQs. To make things short, attached a DSDT which solves this issue and works fine with 10.9.2 as of today. Plug HDMI cable between GT 610 and monitor, remove all other video cable (I use a simple vga for the installation) 6) Restart the DC7900, all is fine.
