The other day I installed OSX86 on my P4. I have a P4 3.0Ghz Prescott (1MB L2 cache) S478 CPU on a Gigabyte 8S661FXM-RZ (2004 model). It has a SiS 661FXM NorthBridge, and a SiS 963L south bridge. GigaByte 8S661FXM-RZ Product Page The install went ok, but I don't have any network or sound. I was wondering if there were any fixes for these issues. I'd love it if I were able to have networking. That's my top priority, sound is less important.

For the sound driver [onboard SiS SI7012] i followed the instructions in post #73 on Network card [siS900] is unsupported, so i bought myself a D-link DGE-528T Gigabit card [Realtek 8169 chipset] which installed fairly easily. Download and run Xbench, pay particular attention to hard drive speed.

For me this was ridiculously slow, so i followed eclau's instructions on which improved speeds quite a bit. So besides onboard LAN, my SATA hard drive isn't recognized, and my ATA hard drive is recognized as having a capacity of only 128GB. Still looking to fix these, but otherwise i have a fully functional OS X install Hope this helps, and if you have any solutions for my hard drive issues, just lemme know.
