Media 100 For Windows

Media 100 has been a player in video editing for a long time, but is relatively new to the software-only world. Three years ago, Media 100 shipped its very first software-only product, Media 100 Producer, along with Media 100 Suite, its big brother product that shipped with AJA hardware. Now, the Media 100 Producer name has gone away, leaving Media 100 Suite, which can now operate either by itself or in concert with an AJA or Matrox card. Media 100 Suite has its eye on the professional market, but is still easy to use for the editor who wants a little more. Media 100 Suite’s price tag may scare some users off but when you consider that it includes Boris RED along with a powerful editor, the $1,300 doesn’t seem too high. The Great Try Before you Buy A full-feature two-week trial download of Media 100 Suite is available that can be purchased and unlocked, so you can get right to editing and trying out the software.
